Vera contacted me back in July with an unusual request – after watching her sister Anna’s Trash the Dress video, she knew she wanted something similar. But she didn’t have a dress to trash–in fact, she’d never had a real wedding at all. Alex and Vera got married 5 years ago in a simple ceremony with family and friends. There was no white dress, no fanfare. But 5 years and 3 beautiful children later, she still held her dream of having great wedding photos and a fabulous video. And so we put our heads together and came up with an unforgettable photo/video shoot!
It was easy to work with Alex and Vera. They are so open and sincere–we felt like old friends fast! They completely trusted our vision and we followed their dreams. I knew Vera wanted two ‘moods’–one vintage, one modern. She had the veils and props to go with. We had the locations–an empty monestary, wide beaches, and a fairytale forest.
This shoot was so fab that I’m going to blog it in two parts–watch for Part II sometime next week!
