Today has been a working day of the simplest sort: paying bills, editing photos, creating ads. I’ve also been updating our website with some of our recent work. While updating the main photo galleries, I noticed that my favorite images all take place near water.
Maybe it’s because of the end-of-season rush of Trash the Dress sessions, maybe it is because I am drawn to water. I love rain (I’m so glad autumn is here in Seattle, bringing with it cool rain), I love the ocean. In high school, I was a lifeguard and I taught swimming lessons. I was born in late June, making my horoscope “cancer, the crab”–a water sign.
Water brings me home.
