Welcome to Zinchuk Studios!

Zinchuk Studios is a husband and wife team based in the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in wedding cinematography and photography, working in the Seattle area and beyond!

memory.color.sound.quality. . . these are our values, our ideals when it comes to capturing your special day.

Alexander, our cinematographer, comes to Seattle by way of Ukraine. A musician by training and a police officer in a former life, each film Alex creates is uniquely beautiful. He has been recording memories to film for almost 10 years. He is experienced shooting news, documentary, and wedding video in the US and Europe.

Jennifer is the studio photographer. She is a teacher by profession (teaching English to speakers of other languages in the US and abroad), but has been an artist for life. Beginning with drawing and painting, Jennifer has been capturing images forever!

Merry Christmas (x2)

The holidays haven’t yet ended in our little household. Today we’re celebrating Russian Orthodox Christmas. Everything is low-key since our Orthodox friends and family are all abroad, but we’re celebrating nevertheless. Last night we made turkey meatballs, today we relaxed and we’re going to have a meatball feast soon. It’s such a relaxed day that I didn’t bother with photos. Instead, I’ll leave you with this cute Christmas Matryoshka set :)

Too cute, huh?  I’ve been wanting to get a Matryoshka in Ukraine, but I always forget. I found this cute set on clearance at Target :)

Remember: One week left of cans for comments!

admin - That is so sad! I love Matroshkas--I really want to actually buy a set when I'm next in Ukraine. But I'll be sure to put it in my carry-on!January 24, 2010 - 5:41 pm

anna - Couple years ago I traveled to UA and received the most beautiful Matroshka set from one of my favorice cousins there. When I arrived in the US and started unpacking, to my surprise (or not) the matroshka set was gone. Some one in UA went through my luggage and took it out.. What a sad sad selfish world we live in.January 12, 2010 - 1:03 pm
