Steve and Karen’s Seattle wedding had so many special moments. When we filmed their (hilarious) Love Story we quickly found out that they’re not a lovey-dovey couple. However, the love they share with each other and with their family and friends could not be hidden on their wedding day. I was so touched by the extremely personal words their Rabbi shared during the ceremony at the Sunset Club. The toasts were so heartfelt they brought me to tears. Despite some unexpected challenges during the day, I can only say that their wedding day really touched my heart.
My favorite moment: all the film references! Steve is a filmmaker and many of his friends and family members have had cameos in his films. There were so many fun references by both their Rabbi and friends to Steve’s special passion throughout the evening, not least in reference to their amazing Love Story film that we created together. It was such a wonderful moment to watch the film debut on screen to laughter and tears! It is such moments that remind us why we love to create wedding films!!
