Roman + Nataliya: A Dream Come True | Seattle Wedding Cinematography

Alex is always trying to come up with new ideas to present wedding films in a new way. Months ago, he had the idea to contrast a little girl dreaming of her wedding with a beautiful bride celebrating her day. We just had to find the perfect bride. When Nataliya emailed to say that she was engaged, I knew we had the right girl. She loved the idea and she quickly realized that her dressmaker’s daughter would be the perfect little actress. When we showed up to film, we had no idea how gorgeous it would turn out–the room of dresses was the perfect detail! And of course our favorite Seattle wedding magazine, Seattle Met Bride & Groom, had to make a cameo!

Nataliya and Roman complement each other perfectly and it was such a pleasure to spend this cool October day with them. They got ready at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency and its gorgeous lobby was the perfect setting for their “first look.” It is so wonderful when brides meet their groom before the ceremony. This private moment allows the couple to spend a few minutes together and share a few words. The first glimpse of your beloved in full wedding regalia is such an intimate moment — it is wonderful to have a few moments to allow it to sink in!

Although we shoot primarily wedding films, we love a beautiful picture! That’s why we can’t help but share some of Roman and Nataliya’s engagement pictures. We shot a Love Story film in Port Gamble with this creative couple. All we knew is that we were hoppin’ a ferry to this picturesque town. Here are just a couple photos and film outtakes from our day.

Viktor + Alena: Highlights

Last week we gave you a sneak peek of Viktor & Alena’s wedding. Today we can finally share their highlights film They were such an amazing couple to work with. It was clear from our first meeting that they couldn’t wait to be married. These two are such a perfect couple–full of energy, love, and emotions. It was easy to capture them on film. Even better, they were willing to try anything. After their daytime ceremony and reception, they ditched the wedding party for a trash the dress on the beach. Unexpected and SO FUN! A great way to end a long day!

Wedding: Nick + Anna

Although we have the occasional lazy weekend, this year is off to a busy start! We are juggling both finishing the long edits from our summer weddings and filming new weddings. We have new client inquiries every day and consultations and bookings every week. Luckily we added a new laptop computer to our studio recently, so we are more mobile and can do many more things at once.

Last weekend we filmed Nick and Anna’s awesome wedding, and when our other computers were busy rendering video and burning Blu-Rays, we took a moment to put together this trailer.

Nick and Anna are the kindest people. They have a genuine love and are loved by many. Their wedding filled the Slavic Pentecostal Church ‘Sulamita’ and so many of our past couples were there as guests–it was a wonderful reunion! It was also wonderful to work with their wedding photographer, Alex Udodik, once again. He will soon be a familiar name around here, as we have a couple more weddings with him this spring.
